Da Interioridade do Desejo

O erotismo em questão

Drawing on the museum’s collection, Da Interioridade do Desejo examined eroticism through relationships between interior experience, the body, desire, life, and death. The curatorial text drew on Georges Bataille to connect works beyond the direct depiction of sexuality.

Paintings, prints, drawings, and sculpture were brought into dialogue through bodily forms, emotional tension, and suggestive relationships between figures and spaces. The exhibition developed an interpretive argument through an existing collection.
