Exposição Impressa connected the resources needed to make work with the forms through which it could reach a public. The project established a shared printmaking workspace at AAPLAJ, acquired a press and materials, and brought fourteen artists together for sixty-four hours of workshops over four weekends.
Between April and June 2015, artists explored woodcut, drypoint, and etching alongside questions of place, mapping, and the city. The collective process produced an exhibition and a handmade livro-exposição: a book that could be handled as an exhibition in its own right.
A public lecture by Marco Buti and a separate documentation catalog extended the project’s pedagogical dimension. The press and shared workspace remained available beyond the exhibition; the catalog records continued use at the time of publication.
Support: SIMDEC / Fundação Cultural de Joinville; AAPLAJ.
