An ongoing research on místicas, a performative practice unique to Movimento dos Sem Terra (Landless Workers' Movement). MST is the largest social movement in Brazil, focused on agrarian reform. Its místicas have roots in Liberation Theology and similar practices found in Catholic communities - but with a Marxist flavor. 

In 2023 and 2024, I did 1 week residencies at Escola Nacional Florestan Fernandes (ENFF), in São Paulo, documenting místicas in video to build an archive. The research is ongoing, and will tentatively produce a documentary.
