Truck Nuts, sculpture, 2018 to 2025

Cast stoneware, glazed. ceramic pieces depicting truck nuts upside-down. 

Truck nuts are a mass-produced vehicle accessory resembling testicles, typically attached to the rear of pickup trucks.  In this project, I appropriate its form and turn it upside down. Working across appropriation and material transformation, the series reinterprets these objects through cement, plaster, clay and leather.
