A president becomes convinced that the presidential palace is haunted, but the first lady does not believe him, setting a 26-minute comedy-horror with musical sequences into motion.
Developed with Marcos Serafim and filmed between East Lansing and Rio de Janeiro, the production brings together performers and footage from Brazil and the United States. The disagreement between the president and first lady opens into a transnational political farce involving a pair of television mystics and uses presidential authority as a vehicle for comedy, horror, supernatural anxiety, and absurdist performance.
