Arte Intercidades, 2013

An international, itinerant program of performance and intervention, presented in public spaces of the cities of Joinville, Brazil, and Lansing, USA. Artists were invited to create Fluxus-like “scores” to be exchanged, performed and re-performed in both locations.

The program featured original artworks by Assocreation Collective (USA/Austria), Ale Mello (Brazil), Desiree Duell (USA), Dylan Wahl (USA), Elise Toups (USA), Laborativo Collective (Brazil), Nilton Tirotti (Brazil), Priscila dos Anjos (Brazil), Ryan Groendyk (USA) and Teresa Siewerdt (Brazil). Juried and curated by myself, Alena Marmo (Brazil) and James L. Lawton (USA). Produced in collaboration with the Schwanke Museum of Contemporary Art. Funded by a Joinville Arts Council grant (SIMDEC).
